Howard “Chub” Truman Adams, 74 of Haskell, passed away on April 3, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 23, 1943 in Benton to the late H.T. and Faye Couch Adams. Chub worked as a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office for 35 years and was a member of the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Edith Adams.
Chub is survived by his wife of 46 years, Deborah Adams, brother, Ronald (Susan) Adams of Traskwood, niece and nephew, Donia Prada of Florida and Justin Adams of New York, father in law, Thomas J. Ballard of Fenter, sisters in law, Pam (Mike) Holland and Barbara (Keith) Cole, all of Benton, nieces and nephews, Alex Ballard, Alisha Willet, David Holland, Lesley Holland, Brittni Ballard and Maci (Jake) Wright, great nieces and nephews, Angelina, Isabella and Nicholas Prada of Florida and Dante Ballard of Virginia.
