Carrie Belle Bower
Carrie Belle Bower, 68, of Aaronsburg, died at the Centre County Hospital Saturday at 8:36 a.m.
Born in Haines Township, Feb. 2, 1900, she was the daughter of Ammon A. and Minnie O. Stover Stover. She was married to William Bower who preceded her in death.
Surviving her are two brothers and a sister, Henry J. Stover and Mrs. Martha Bower, both of Aaronsburg, and Andrew W. Stover of Williamsport.
She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Aaronsburg; Women of the Moose, Bellefonte; Auxiliary to the Bellefonte Veterans Club; Aaronsburg Civic Club and the Auxiliary to Jackson-Crissman Saylor Post 1600, Bellefonte.
Funeral services will be held at the Neff Funeral Home, Millheim, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Andrew H. Beahm officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery, Aaronsburg.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends are requested to omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Lutheran Cemetery Association of Aaronsburg.
