Joy Docking, 97, formerly of Mitchell passed peacefully at the Hillside Manor, RR5, Stratford on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Lyle Docking (1991). Dear mother of Barb Pullman (Ken), Marion Satchell (Murray), Shirley Biernaskie (Alan), Marjorie Braid (Dave), Bill Docking (Mary Ellen), Roy Docking (Faye), Jim Docking (Bonnie) and Sharon Pavkeje (Bob). Lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jim Lobb. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Wilbert and Ada Lobb, step-mother Maude Lobb, sisters Margaret Crich (Don), Bernice MacFarlane (Gordon) and Grace Pym (Howard), brothers Mervin Lobb (Jean), Harold Lobb (Carrie) and Alvin Lobb (Edith), sister-in-law Verna Lobb and her Docking in-laws.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Dave Williams officiating.
