Carol Ross McSwain, age 65 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.
She retired after several years as an LPN. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Paris, where she was the children's church director and enjoyed fellowship with other church members. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling.
Carol was born November 18, 1952, in Big Sandy, TN, to the late Clyde Wilson Ross and the late Dorothy Zuckschwerdt Ross.
She was married June 27, 1970, to Julian McSwain, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by one son, Tim (Julie) McSwain of Johnston City, IL; one sister, Shirley Robertson of Camden, TN; one brother, Roy Ross of Big Sandy, TN; two grandchildren, Caleb McSwain and Rachel McSwain; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Paris Church of God of Prophecy, and continue Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Paris Church of God of Prophecy. The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Paris Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Roger Smith officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
