Rites Set Saturday For Union Teacher, Mrs. Etta K. Heard
BERNICE - Mrs. Etta K. Heard, 78-year-old school teacher, died in a Bernice clinic Thursday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Pine Grove Baptist Church near Bernice with the Rev. A. H. Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of Farmerville.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until time of the services.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews who will serve as pallbearers.
