Clara E. Jones of rural Peru, who aged 91 years, 10 months, and 29 days, died at 4:30 a.m,. on Friday, July 2, 2004 at her residence.
Born August 3, 1912 in Cass County Indiana, she was the daughter of John and India Boone Angle.
On October 6, 1935 in Anderson, Indiana, she was married to Owen O. Jones, who died March 27, 1992.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church of Hoover, Indiana.
Surviving are three sons, Larry Jones and his wife Nan, Logansport; Jim Jones and his wife Bonita, Walton; and Daniel Jones and his wife Peggy, Peru; two daughters, Nancy Jones, Peru; and Marjorie Binkerd and her husband Charles, Macy; five grandsons, four granddaughters, and 10 great-grandchildren, along with 2 step grandsons, 1 step granddaughter, and 8 step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Scott, Twelve Mile; and Addie Miller, Jackson, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2004 at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church in Hoover, Indiana. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
