A. Brice Artman Jr., 89, of Parks Township, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at West Haven Manor Nursing Home, Apollo. He was born April 26, 1928, in Parks Township, son of the late A. Brice Artman Sr. and Hattie L. Flickinger Artman. He was a lifelong resident of the community. He was the husband of 69 years of Helen I. Walker Artman, who died Oct. 24, 2017. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum in 1992. He was a member of St. Paul Highfield Church, Parks Township, and a lifelong member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He enjoyed operating the family farm. Survivors include his sons, Ken and Anita Artman, of Vandergrift, Rodney and Sherry Artman, of Parks Township, Gregg Artman, of Parks Township, and Daniel and Tammy Artman, of Gilpin Township; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Helen I. (Walker) Artman; a son, Terry M. Artman; grandson, Easton Artman; daughter-in-law, Jacqulynn Artman; sisters, Val Jean Summerhill and Shirley Artman; and brother-in-law, Albert Summerhill.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME INC., Ford City. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Highfield Church, with Pastor Ryan Pusch. Interment will be in Brick Church Cemetery.
