Dan J. Carmack passed away on March 19 2018 at Fieldstone Memory Care. He was born on October 27, 1931 to Ralph and Georgia Carmack in Yakima, WA.
Dan spent his adult life farming in the lower Valley and driving truck for 33 years. The last company he worked for was Safeway.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jan at the home; two sons, Gary and Jim; two grandchildren, Shawn and Scott and two very special grandchildren, Michael and Rachel, whom he helped raise.
Dan enjoyed fishing and gardening, and did both very well. He was known as onion man.
