Donald Douglas was born to Henry Charles Denton and Anna Elizabeth Kinneer. He eloped with his neighborhood sweetheart, Marjorie Maude Moler on 1 May 1930 in Indiana. Together they had 6 children: Ronald Harvey, Shirley Ann, George, David Douglas, Delores Joan, and Frederick. He was a welder. He passed away in the hospital after suffering from severe arthritis.
