Darlene Adams, 69, Burkesville, died Aug. 9, 2003, at the Bowling Green Medical Center. She was a member of the Faith Bible Church. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Maude Scovill. She was survived by four sons — George and Tommy Adams, both of Burkesville; Kevin Adams, Lexington, and Garod Adams, who died the week following his mother‘s death (on Aug. 18, 2003); five daughters, Karen Toby, Kathy Adams, Debra Alexander, Donna Hardin and Sandra Delette, all of Burkesville; a sister, Ruth Steger, Anderson, Ind.; 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Aug. 12, at the Ballou Funeral Home in Burkesville, with Bro. Phillip Leak officiating. Burial was on Aug. 13 at the Pleasant Walk Cemetery in Anderson, Ind.
Serving as pallbearers were Earl Alexander, Ed Blythe, Judge Anders, Doug Wills and Roy Carroll. (082803)
