Her funeral notice in the paper says she was the wife of Edward C. Lucas. I could not find what happened to him. There was an Edward C. Lucas who died in WA in 1931 who MIGHT be him?

I am supposing that to mean that she went by the nickname of Dottie? And, I believe the S. stood for her maiden name of Shields and not for any middle name she had??
