Obituary;
Mr. Bill H. Adkisson, age 86, went to home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2018. Bill was born on March 6, 1932. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an active member of Redemption Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lon and Lona Adkisson, Twin Sister: Betty Phillips, and Brother: Johnny Adkisson.
He is survived by loving wife of 63 years June Hamby Adkisson. Daughter: Donna and husband George Melhorn. Son: Jeff and wife Michelle Adkisson. Grandchildren: Candace Melhorn-Sexton, Brittany and husband Scott Pafford, Alex and wife Ginger Melhorn, Alyssa and husband Dakota Moss and Logan Adkisson. Seven Great Grandchildren: Bradlee, Caden, Blake, Sawyer, Laney, Carter and Sadie. Brother: Wilburn Adkisson. Also a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
The family would like to thank Bills special friends that came to visit during his stay at the hospital and at Life Care of Morgan County, each of you hold a special place in our hearts. We cant say enough about how you helped all of us and great care you gave Bill.
