Terry L. Senner, age 53, of Bloomfield, died on Sunday, July 2, 2006 in Glendive.
A Prayer Service was held Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in the Chapel of the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the Bethlehem Mennonite Church in Bloomfield with Pastor Vaughn White and Pastor Darrell Nefzger officiating. Interment was in the Bethlehem Mennonite Cemetery in Bloomfield. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Terry was born on December 18, 1952 in Glendive, Montana, the son of Alfred and Leona (Schwartz) Senner. He attended Richey Schools and graduated from Richey High School with the class of 1971. Terry attended Billings Automotive Training School in Billings, Montana and graduated from there in 1973. Terry was united in marriage to Kathy King on June 12, 1981 at Terry's Waite place home. He farmed in Bloomfield since 1952.
Terry was truly a farmer. He loved the smell of freshly turned soil, the air in the morning, the smell of blooming safflower, the smell of harvest after dark, and the smell of warm grain emptying out into the trucks from the combine. He enjoyed barbecuing, cooking, fishing and spotting wildlife. Although he never did, he had a passion to fly an airplane.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Senner of Bloomfield; his daughters, Onya Senner of Richey and Tye Koonce and her husband Shawn of Canton, Texas; his son, Jacob Senner of Bloomfield; his brother, Tim Senner and his wife Vernice of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Bailey and Caleb Dillon and Pepper Koonce; niece, Tessa Senner, nephews, Jon Senner and Mike Senner and numerous cousins.
