Funeral services for John Welburn Collins, of Grapeland, will be at the First United Methodist Church Grapeland. Burial will follow in Parker Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Aliene Collins; and a brother, Wayne Collins.
He is survived by a sister, Myrtice Cobb of Grapeland; a brother, Harvey Collins (Jan); a son, Dwayne Collins (Judy); daughters; Denyce Cram (Nick) and Delia Cobb (Craig); slos six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
John served our country in occupied Japan. He was a retired Houston police officer, and a Master Mason for more than sixty years.
