Henry E. King, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005.
He was born September 8, 1922 to Henry T. King and Adell Harris King in Haskell County, Texas, and was raised and educated in Rule, Texas. Prior to his retirement, Henry had worked for Texas Pacific Railroad for sixteen years and Knorr Furniture for eighteen years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and a sister.
Henry is survived by his former wife, Jimmie King of Midland, TX; sons, Charles King and wife, Lisa, of Greenville, TX; Christopher Shane King of Midland, TX; daughter, Brenda Moore and husband, Eddie, of Midland, TX; sisters, Augusta Smith and Ola Mae Snow, both of Midland, TX; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Thursday, March 24, 2005 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 25, 2005 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Vince Vigar, Jackie Don Wilkes, Mike Curtis, Lance Rosser, Monty Rosser and Perry Rosser. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Rosser, Ben Keith and Marvin Eastman.
