He owned and operated Curley's Beeline Service. He was a member of Villa Heights Christian Church and Joplin Masonic Lodge 335, AF&AM. He was a worthy patron of Temple Chapter No. 95, Order of the Eastern Star, and former member of Kiwanis.
He married Mary Smith, Sep. 3, 1927, in Paola, KS.
Burial to be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
