Born June 21, 1932, in Halifax, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry D. and Gladys M. (Miller) Jury. She was the loving wife of the late Rev. William A. Speers who died November 25, 2015 and with whom she shared sixty-two years of marriage.
Patricia was a 1950 graduate of Halifax High School and attended the Central Penn Business School. She was a homemaker and former member and Chaplain of the Order of the Eastern Star in Sunbury, PA.
Mrs. Speers was very active in her husband's churches, serving as a Sunday School teacher and as a pianist.
Patricia was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Beth Speers Herb and husband, John of Shippensburg, PA and Valerie Speers Miller and husband, Jeff of Conway, SC; four grandchildren, Meghan Nash and husband Chris, Jenna Miller, Greg Herb and wife Brownwyn, and Nathan Herb and wife Amanda; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service to celebrate and remember Patricia's life will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, March 26, 2018, at Halifax United Methodist Church Cemetery, 105 Wind Hill Drive, Halifax, PA, with Rev. David Roe officiating.
