Following his retirement from the Atomic Energy Commission, he and Marion (deceased 2013) were in the antique business. He was also a talented rug hooker and wood carver, leaving family with many items to cherish.
He is survived by Janet (Robert) Deasy of Farmington, John (Susan) McColley of NC and Julie (Steve) Walter of MD. Also surviving are grandchildren and great-grandchildren Marlene (Joe) Prespare, Adam and Luke; Cheryl (Keil) Newbanks, Ethan and Eric; Paul (Suzy) Deasy, Tate and Piper. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Mary Alice of OH and Ruth of IN.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 73 years, Marion, and beloved grandson Sgt. Jonathan Eric McColley.
