Grace A. Pickett, 88, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at her home. She was born in Three Rivers, Massachusetts on July 4, 1924 to the late William and Eva Riopelle Archambault.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lt. Col. David Pickett, SSGT. Edward Pickett Jr., 1 daughter, Kristin Foulke, a brother William R. Archambault and half brother Bernard Guay.
Surviving is her husband, Colonel (US Army Retired) Edward Pickett, children: Karen DeSosa of Owensboro, Robert Pickett of Owensboro, Ellen Rajewski of Peoria, AZ, Rosemary DeCoursey of Mesa, AZ, Anne Marie Pickett of Houston, TX, daughters-in-law, Rosemary Griggs of Honolulu, HI, Tina Pickett of Owensboro, a brother, Raymond Archambault of East Bridgewater, MA, and sister, Lillian Farkas, of Fullerton, CA.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Father John Vaughan officiating and burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
