John Lovely Forestier

John Lovely Forestier, 73, passed away on Sept. 24, 2007, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born to Edolia Hernandez Forestier and Ferdinand Forestier in Pine Island, La. He was a retired cementer for Halliburton Energy Services and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening and French music.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Smith Forestier of Lake Charles; two sons: Keith Forestier and wife Margaret of Sulphur and Scott Forestier and wife Cheryl of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mitzi LaCombe of Lake Charles; one granddaughter, Robin Haney and husband Mike; two stepgrandsons, Dan and Jeff Zeigler; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Johnson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Consolata Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today, with a rosary at 6 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Wednesday. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www. johnsonfuneralhome.net.
