MISS BOWYER DIES AT 86
Walton -- Mary Kathryn Bowyer, 86, Rt. 2, Walton, died at 1:30 p. m. Thursday at Memorial Hospital.
She was a lifelong member of the Pipe Creek Christian Church near Lewisburg and a member of the Olde Town Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
Surviving are one brother, Walter Bowyer, Peru; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Fouts, Chandler, Ariz.;(sic.) and Mrs. Dorris Layman, Walton; and many nieces and nephews.
Seven brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Wolf Funeral Home, Walton, with the Rev. Ralph Hankins officiating. Burial will be in DeLawter Cemetery near Pipe Creek Falls.
Friends may call after 2 p. m. Saturday. The DAR will conduct graveside services.
