Maria Ester Thomas was born on July 2, 1950, in Kemp, TX and went home to our Lord's heavenly Kingdom on March 4, 2017.
Maria was a resident of Dallas for the majority of her life and lived in Louisiana for a few years earlier in her life. She was a home health care aid for more than two decades and enjoyed taking care of others. She never met a stranger and met friends wherever she went.
Her love of kids was enormous, and everyone called her Grandma. She loved caring for her grandkids and being there for them. She was blessed with one son, but God called him home 4 ½ years ago. Maria had a big heart and was always there to help anyone who asked, especially her family.
She has left a big void in the lives of everyone who loved her and life will not be the same without her.
Maria is survived by her three grandchildren Dausyn, Dacoda and Jadyn Thomas.
She is predeceased by her son Danny Clay Thomas; parents Jesus and Leandra Fernandez; sister Mary Helen Camarillo; brother and sister-in-law Jesse and Janie Fernandez.
Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017
