Mrs. Roxana Patterson died at the home of her son-in-law, Jackson Pruitt, in this city, May 30th, aged 88 years, after a brief illness. She was born in New York state and in 1845 with her husband, Adam Patterson, came to Vernon, Ind., where they resided for a number of years. The funeral took place from the residence of Mr. Pruitt last Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Wells officiating.
A son CRAYTON PATTERSON is buried in Shelby County, IN.
