Judy and Jeanine lived in Granby Mo with their Grandparents, Mr and Mrs William Depew through Junior High. They then lived in Joplin through high school with their Aunt Bertha and Uncle Grant Asher as well as their two daughters, Norma and Jackie. In her younger years Judy modeled cloths for Kassab's in Joplin. She later attended cosmetology school and for many years owned and operated "Judy's Fashion Corner" in Duenweg Mo. She was a member of Duenweg Assembly of God Church.
Judy was united in marriage to Orval Delzell in Joplin in 1943. They were long time residents of Duenweg. Orval preceded her in death in 1971. She was united in marriage to William George Stockl in Carthage in 1974. They retired and moved to Table Rock Lake. They were members of the Elks Lodge in Eureka Springs Arkansas. Judy was also a member of Hill Hollow Garden Club in Eureka Springs. They moved to Carthage in 1994 when Bill's health declined. Bill preceded her in death in 1997. Judy was also preceded in death by her father, Everett Crume in 1979 and her sister, Jeanine Delzell in 2017.
Judy is survived by one daughter, Saundra Pope (Larry) of Claremore OK, three sons, Julian "Corky" Delzell (Linda) of Carl Junction MO, John Barry Delzell of Carthage MO and Douglass Delzell of Carthage; Seven Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grandchildren and five Great Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by five stepsons, William Stockl Jr (Pat), Dennis Stockl (Jackie), Nick Stockl (Kathy), Anthony Stockl and Edward Biamonte-Stockl (Charlene) as well as many step Grand and step Great Grand children.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm, April 26, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage with Chaplin Tonia Platt officiating. Pall Bearers were Jared Delzell, Brent Delzell, Shane Delzell, Paul Southard, Travis Delzell and Tyler Rogers. Interment was in Diamond Cemetery, Diamond MO.
Judy outlived two husbands and wanted to be buried close to each of them. At her request she is in the grave next to Orval with Bill's ashes in her casket.
