FUNERAL SATURDAY FOR MRS. HOLT
Funeral services for former Bucklin resident, Mrs. Hester Holt, 87 of 215 S. Livingston, Brookfield, were held Saturday afternoon at the Larson-Scudiero Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Bucklin Masonic Cemetery.
Hester Jane, daughter of Ruben and Bell (Carriker) Foster, was born June 28, 1886 in Kansas. On Mar. 3, 1904 she married Perry David Holt. To this union six children were born.
She is survived by one son, Floyd H. Holt, and one daughter, Mrs. Ethelyn Admire, both of Brookfield; one sister, Mrs. Elma Coles of Ft. Madison, Iowa; 24 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Luther B. Holt and William E. Holt; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Mae Burris and Mrs. Edna Fanning; four sisters and one brother.
She had been a life-long resident of the Bucklin-Brookfield community.
