Of Bonne Terre passed away March 18, 2018. He was born June 7, 1924 in Hinton, Oklahoma. Irving proudly served his country in the United States Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corp Reserves during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Bonne Terre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Florence (Copley) Gillingham; daughter, Sheryl Jackson; son, Barry Gillingham; two brothers; three sisters.
Irving is survived by his loving wife, Grace (Horney) Gillingham; two daughters, Denise Kitts-Wadlow and husband Tony and Tammy Zimmerly and husband David. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
