Linda "Linn" Diane Elizabeth Thompson was born July 6, 1953 in Warroad, Minnesota, the fifth (3rd living) child and first daughter of Vernon and Violet Thompson. On March 13, 2015 she married her sweetheart and long-time partner, Joni Rivall in Hennepin County, Minnesota and settled in Bloomington, Minnesota. Linn died at home on March 13, 2018 on her third wedding anniversary.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brothers, Mark and Gary. She is survived by wife Joni Rivall; step-children Jack, Amanda (Alex) and Sam; siblings Ken, Randy (Phylis), Wes (Deb), Kelly (Mark) Bailey, Sheri (Richard) Cabrera, Scott, and Lisa B.; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and, of course, her dog, Teddie.
