Roberta Sue Belding, age 75 of Nebraska City passed away March 12, 2018 at The Ambassador Care Center in Nebraska City after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Roberta was born June 6, 1942 in Enterprise, KS, the daughter of Wallace and Maude (Hurley) Funston. She grew up in Holton, KS and later attended Emporia State University where she met her husband Walter. Walter and Roberta were married December 26, 1962 in Topeka, KS. During her life she was an avid genealogist, loving wife, doting grandmother and dedicated church member. She will be missed greatly by friends and family. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Wilber, Gene, Bill and Richard Funston.
