Preceded in death by her parents and son, Frederick Lynn "Rico " Rogers (1948-1988).∼Mittie Spilsbury Rogers Hudson, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. She is precious mother of Patti Hickerson, Bobbi Gonzalez (Rogelio Gonzalez, MD), and her son Rico Rogers, who preceded her in death. Her grandchildren are Trevor, Troy, Benjamin, Jennifer, Robyn, Kristin, Erik, Kimberly, Bryan, Christina, and Ricky. She has twenty great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mittie joined the Army during WWII as an RN. She later became a CRNA until she retired in 1979. We will miss her graciousness, charm and wonderfully sharp wit. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A viewing will be held from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM, immediately followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Mormon Church at 400 Rosemont.
