L. D. Trogdon,77, of Yellville entered into rest on Friday, March 16 at his residence in Yellville. He was born in the Tomahawk community of Marion County, Arkansas September 1, 1940. Son to the late Dan and Alma (Keeling) Trogdon. He was raised in St. Joe, Arkansas helping his Dad with logging and picking cotton. L.D. was a dairy farmer, raised and showed Missouri Fox Trotters and worked for the Arkansas Forestry Commission for 30 years. He was a member by faith of the Church of Christ.

L.D.married the former Sharon K. (Huddleston) and on March 26,1992 and this year would have marked their 26th year of marriage..L. D.and Sharon enjoyed fishing and spent many hours camping on Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Sharon Huddleston Trogdon of the home. Children, Betty Villines of Flippin, AR; Marty (Rhonda) Trogdon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Bruce (Kim) Trogdon of Bruno, Arkansas; Claudia (Mark) Muller of Los Angeles, California; David (Shannon) Cockrum of Cabot, Arkansas; Joe (Kristy) Cockrum of Beebe, ,Arkansas; Brother, David Trogdon and Sisters, Anna Lee Still of St. Joe, Arkansas and Othela Marler of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Roller-Burns Funeral Home chapel on Monday, March19, 2018 at 11:00 am with Bruce Trogdon officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at the Osborn Cemetery in St. Joe, Arkansas.
