----
Mrs. Mary V. Robey died at her home near Bensville in the sixth district on Thursay night of last week, aged 73 years. The deceased had for a long time been in declining health but was active and energetic up to a short time before her death. She leaves her husband, Mr. Hugh Walter Robey, four sons and one daughter, who are Mrs. B. M. Martin, of Mt. Rainer, Prince George's county, Milton, Pearley, Wallace and Grover Robey, all residents of this county. The deceased was a lady of strong personality devoted to her family, and was ever ready to extend the helping hand to any one afflicted or otherwise in distress.
The funeral services in the P. E. Church, Pomonkey, in the absence of Rector, Mr. Curtis, consisted of sacred hymns sung by the choir with Mrs. J. S. Warren at the organ.
A large number of persons attended the funeral to pay their last tribute of respect to the deceased lady.
The interment was in the P. E. Church Cemetery, Pomonkey. The pall bearers were her four sons, her grandson Orville Robey and Milfred Hancock.
