Brenda Carol Spangler 73, of Paris, died at 6:27 PM, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Longmeadow Healthcare Center in Justin, Texas. She was born January 31, 1945 in Gainesville, Georgia to John Lambert and Almera Dixon Bullock.
She graduated from high school and attended Paris Junior College. Mrs. Spangler married Larry Spangler on December 4, 1964. He died in 2008. She was a waitress for many years at Sirloin Stockade in Paris and was a member of Life Tabernacle.
She is survived by her four sons, Kenneth Spangler and wife, Kjersti of Mesquite, Keith Spangler of Denton, Kyle Spangler and wife, Shawna of Ben Franklin, and Kristopher Spangler and wife, Natalie of Denton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Jimmy Bullock and wife, Brenda of Lula, Georgia; and numerous extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Ashtyn Spangler.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Bult officiating. Burial will follow at Detroit Cemetery.
