Ross "Harry" Flowers, Jr., 59, died Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh House. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Harry was born June 12, 1952, in Des Moines, to Harry and Norma Flowers. He worked at FW Mac and Town Delivery. Harry enjoyed bowling and camping.
Harry is survived by his mother, Norma Flowers; brother, Chris (Terri) Flowers; children, Melissa (Chad) Kennedy, Marcie (Mark) Wessinger, Amanda (Steve) Weatherly, Mariah (Danny) Flowers, Beau (Alyson) Flowers; and his ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ross H. Flowers, Sr., and his sister, Becky Findley.
