Vance Scrapbook, pg. 123 states:
"Joseph H. Cline went to Chicago, Illinois as a young man and entered business. He looked and acted a great deal like his father. He was, like his father, slender, straight and bald. He died in Chicago in 1950. He was cremated and his ashes buried in the family lot at Abbottsville, Darke County, Ohio."
It is also stated here that he first married Edith Gephard and 2nd Jean Unknown. He had a son, Alfred Cline.
