The wife of the late Kenneth W. Garrison, Sr., who passed away in 2013, she was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Lewis Johnson and Naomi (nee Kennedy) Mingin and step-father, Robert Mingin, who raised her.
Mrs. Garrison’s hobbies included bowling at Pike Lanes, cooking and bird watching. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and her dog, Precious.
She is survived by four children, Kathleen A. Halter of Bridgeton, Kenneth W. Garrison, Jr. (Denise) of Sun City Center, FL, Ron C. Garrison (Alisa) of Downingtown, PA and Cindy J. Brandriff of Millville, seven grandchildren, Dustin Halter (fiancé January Stasul), Lauren and Ryan Halter, Craig Garrison (Jill), Brandi Bodenstaff (Jeff), Lewis Brandriff II (Emily) and Christine Miller (Shane), ten great grandchildren, Brooke and Paige Willtis, Breanna Brandriff, Makayla, Ryleigh and Mackenzie Miller, Mason and Aiden Wydra, and Dominic and Giuliana Garrison and great great grandchildren, Zoey and Michael. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Jeff Halter, two sisters-in-law, Mildred Cain (Donald) and Evelyn Keller, life long friend, Rosemary D’Agostino and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Brian S. Garrison, sister, Francis Ortholf Lackey and brother, Alan Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton on Tuesday morning March 13th at 11 o’clock.
The burial will follow and take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell
Township.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 11.
