Born circa 1765, he was a weaver who lived in the Caldewgate section of Carlisle (1806-1823) with his wife and children. He died there, age 58, and was buried April 13th, Thomas Wilkinson performing the ceremony. [LDS film no. 252811] In 1799 he lived outside the Furhgate section of Carlisle.
Wife: Ann(e) Roxton/Ruxton Pollock, daughter of John Ruxton, a soldier, was baptized 9 January 1765, St. Mary's, Carlisle; she married Thomas Pollock 17 July 1790, St. Mary's Parish, Carlisle.
