Edna Maxine Hamrick Gossett, age 90, of Dickson, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Water's of Cheatham in Ashland City, Tennessee
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will be in Dickson Union Cemetery.
She was a native of Hickman County, daughter of the late Charlie and Nettie Mae Yates Hamrick. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Gossett; daughter, Barbara Dean; brothers, Elvis Hamrick, Hardin Hamrick and Melvin Hamrick; sisters, Lillian Tidwell, Alma Fussell, Cecile Hyndman, Eva Mae Wicker, Freddie Durham, Mildred Stinson McKinney and Isma Kimbro.
Mrs. Gossett is survived by her children, Paul Chasteen (Wanda), Sandra Hill, Martha Chasteen Clark, Kay Springer Kenderdine (Eddie) and Tim Springer (Vicki); sister-in-law, Marie Hamrick; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a seamstress with the former jacket factory, Red Cap in Dickson and a retiree from the dietary department of the former Goodlark Hospital. Mrs. Gossett was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary
