Rotterdam – Katherine Tidball, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Katherine was born in Delanson, NY and was the daughter of the late Earl and Clara (Bradt) Abbott.
A lifelong area resident, Katherine worked for many years at the Teresian House as a nurses aide.
Katherine was a longtime member of the Rotterdam District #2 Women’s Auxiliary.
Besides her parents, Katherine was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Clifford Tidball and her granddaughter, Dena Rose.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Moore (Howard), Raymond Tidball, Kathy Greene (Allan) and Clara Reynolds (Joseph), her grandchildren, Howie, Lisa, Amee, Dyonne, Joseph, Alex and Andrew as well as 8 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and dear family friends, Stephan and Eric.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 14th from 12:30-1:30pm at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue in Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin at 1:30pm. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
