Dennis Lee Everhart of Villa Ridge, MO, departed this life at his home on March 2, 2018. having reached the age of fifty-four years, three months and five days. Dennis was born in Washington, MO, on November 25, 1963, son of Franklin James Everhart, Sr. and Rose Marie Everhart nee Poertner. On March 19, 1983, he was united in marriage to Deborah Ann Hall and they were blessed to have four children.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Deborah Everhart, known to all as Debbie, of Villa Ridge, MO; by one son, Dennis James Everhart of St. Clair, MO; by two daughters, Nicole Collins and TSgt Ted, of Whiteman Air Force Base, MO and Amanda Ruzicka and husband, Dennis, of Robertsville, MO; by five grandchildren, Kaylee and Ava Collins of Whiteman, Dominic and Dakota Ruzicka of Robertsville and Gage Hall of Wentzville, MO; by two brothers, Frank Everhart, Jr. and Steven Everhart, both of Pacific, MO; by one sister, Stella Duvall and husband, Robert, of Pacific; by his father-in-law, David Hall of Steelville, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Frank, Sr. and Rose Everhart; by one son, Scott Hall, and by two brothers, Terry and Timmy Everhart.

Dennis was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith. For twenty years, he was employed as a welder for his father at CIS Custom Industrial Service in Pacific, MO. Dennis was happiest when he was spending time outdoors. He loved to coon hunting and was especially fond of his Walker Hound named Willie. Mushroom hunting each Spring was another of his hobbies, as was going fishing. Listening to Steve Earl was another of his pastimes. Above all else, he was happiest when he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren and many wonderful memories have been created.

A devoted and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Ben Kingston officiating. Private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
