FUNERAL SUNDAY FOR FIRE VICTIM
Funeral services for Edward Earl Day, 23, formerly of West Frankfort, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church, West Frankfort.
The Rev. LaVerne Butler and the Rev. Ronnie Cremeens will officicate. Burial will be at Tower Heights Cemetery, West Frankfort. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Stone Funeral Home, West Frankfort. The casket will be closed.
Mr. Day died Monday in a hotel fire at Ellensburg, Wash., where he had been doing construction work.
He was born Nov. 9, 1943, in Franklin County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Day. He was a 1961 graduate of Frankfort Community High School, a member of the First Baptist Church of West Frankfort and a former Member of the National Guard.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, Judith Ann, of Pontiac; a daughter, Kimberly Ann of Pontiac; and a sister, Alta Jane Day of West Frankfort.
