Sophia Arlee Ipock Funeral Services Held
Funeral Services for Sophia Arlee Ipock, 82, of Ava, were held Saturday, May 8, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava with the Rev. Lawrence Applegate officiating. Burial was in the Girdner Cemetery. Miss Ipock died May 5, in the Chastain's Nursing Home in Ava, where she had been living for the past two and a half years.
Sophia Ipock was born January 12, 1894, in Douglas County, the daughter of William B. and Martha Dudley Ipock.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of six children. Preceding Miss Ipock in death were five sisters, Mrs. Lola Jane Moore, Mrs. Deborah (Dee) Brooks, Mrs. Docia Rippie and Mrs. Doll Brooks, all of Ava and Mrs. Vianna Moore of the state of Oklahoma.
