M. LUCILLE WEBB
DRYDEN - M. Lucille Webb, 86, of 5 Library St., Dryden, NY, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at Cayuga Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Webb was born April 1, 1918 in Ithaca, NY, a daughter of the late Harry E. And Estella Wixson Swartwood.
She was married to George Eben Allen in 1942 who died in 1944; and to Charles William Webb in 1958 who died in 1973.
She was graduated from Ithaca High School, Class of 1935.
After graduating from Rochester Business Institute she worked as Executive Secretary to Dr. Edward Ott of Llenroc Lodge; to Howard Ortner, National Executive of National Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity; to Roscoe VanMarter, Commissioner of Tompkins County Dept. Of Welfare; to C.W. Sadd, President of Coop P&C Family Foods, Inc.; and to Roy H. Park, President of Roy H. Park Enterprises. She then retired to live in New York City.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Eleanor Webb Brennan of San Diego, CA; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren, and cousins. In addition, she was predeceased by a stepson, Frank H. Webb.
There are no calling hours, funeral or graveside services. Burial will be with her family and second husband in the Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, NY. It was Lucille's wish that her friends remember her in the happy days.
