AUBURN- Catherine C. (Tangney) Edmonston, 98, formerly of Stonington, CT and Auburn, ME died Friday in her home after an illness.

She is survived by her son Richard Edmonston of Auburn. She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Edmonston in 1985 and her daughter Leslie Buck in 2002.
She was born in Quincy. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Bridget (Norton) Tangney.
Mrs. Edmonston worked as a secretary for Geiger Brothers, publishers of the Farmer’s Almanac for many years prior to her retirement.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5-7PM on Tuesday November 23, 2010 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. Following cremation; a funeral Mass will be held at North American Martyrs Church at a date and time to be announced. Burial will follow in the family lot in Gracelawn Cemetery in Auburn, ME
