Funeral services for Mrs. Gladine Reynolds will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at The Grand Church, Kinder with Rev. Paul Cavenah officiating.  Interment will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Kinder.

Mrs. Reynolds, 74, of Kinder, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, March 9, surrounded by her family and loved ones after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. Her unfaltering faith and devotion to God consoled her passing from this world. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Gladine was born to the late Wilfred and Agnes Fruge, of Elton on December 14, 1943. She was blessed with a large and loving family. She was an educator at heart and spent over thirty years working with special needs children, with the majority of those years spent at J.I. Watson in Iowa, LA. Her passion was music, she taught piano for forty-nine years. It was through piano lessons that she was able to impact and enlighten the lives of so many. One of her greatest joys was being able to play piano and sing in church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Agnes Fruge, of Elton and her sister, Louella Manuel.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her beloved husband of thirty-three years, Gerald B. Reynolds, of Kinder; one son, Keith Scogin and his wife, Shelly, of Jennings; three daughters, Kristy Nelson and her husband, Shane, of Kinder, Kara Scogin, of Kinder and Kendria LeJeune and her husband, Keith, of King George, VA.; two step daughters, Robin Lipari and her husband, Lenny, of New Iberia and Nancy Landry and her husband, Craig, of Youngsville and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, cousins and one nephew.

Friends may call at The Grand Church, Kinder, on, March 12, from 9 a.m. until time of service.

The family would like to extend a special invitation to all former piano students to join us in
