James Henry Adams, 72, of Worthville, died Thursday at his home after a long illness.
He was a farmer and a member of English Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Josie Claggett Adams; a son, James G. Adams of Worthville; a stepson, Don Nelson of Carrollton; stepdaughters, Cheryl Vincent of Dublin, Ga., and Kathy Lucas of Worthville; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will begin there at 6 tonight and at 10 a.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Carrollton.
