Aaron Edward Blagg, 31, of Palestine, Texas was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan to Arthur and Dawn Doerfling Blagg. Aaron graduated from Duncanville High School in 2004 and attended Mountain View Community College pursuing a Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy degree. He was a gifted salesman and computer technician. He worked for Circuit City, Best Buy and most recently, P.G. Technology Inc. in Palestine, Telecommunication/Computer Networking. Installation Service.
Aaron enjoyed working out and could be found all hours at any local fitness club. He was an avid reader and writer. He loved books of all genres. Aaron especially enjoyed spending the holidays with his family; a good home cooked meal, a long nap, followed by enthusiastic play of computer games, board games and football. His thousand watt smile, infectious laugh, gentle nature and warm hugs will be remembered be all.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Lester Lewis Blagg and grandmother, Kathleen Gail Doerfling.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Merritt and Dawn Shepherd of Palestine; grandmother, Neysa Blagg of Naples, FL and grandparents, Dan and Nancy Doerfling of Land-O-Lakes, FL; sister, Andrea Blagg Lackey (Devin) of Palestine;little sister/niece, Aubrey Lynn Blagg; brother, Merritt Shepherd, Jr. (Keri) of Hope, Ark.; sister, Rebecca Cook of Haughton, La.; brother, Russell Shepherd (Melanie; brother, Mark Shepherd (Joy); sister, Amy Latham (Stuart) of Australia and numerous other extended family.
Funeral services will be at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Earle's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Meritt Shepherd, Jr., Russell Shepherd, Mark Shepherd, Devin Lackey, Stuart Lamkin and Tyler Trahan.
