"Wilda" Pershall, 81, passed away in a foster care home in Salem.
She was born Alice Arwilda Kenoyer to the Rev. Firman and Ida Kenoyer in Orchards, Wash.
Wilda married Johnnie "Lee" Pershall in Napa, Calif., on Oct. 17, 1944. Lee preceded her in death in December 2004, as did daughter Rebecca Roberts in July 2005.
Wilda is survived by son Pete Pershall of Lebanon; son Johnnie F. Pershall of Auburn, Wash.; daughter Barbara Samora of Salem; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Wilda graduated from Philomath High School in 1943 and then met her husband while she was an art student at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.
They moved to the Albany area in the late 1980s after John retired from teaching school in Darrington, Wash.
They were members of the Albany First Nazarene Church.
A service will be Saturday at The First Nazarene Church, 1305 Hill St. S.E., in Albany.
