Funeral services for Joe Bill Hollis, 69, of Evadale, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at Farmer Funeral Home with burial at Olds Cemetery in Erin, Texas. Mr. Hollis died April 8, 2002 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A Kirbyville native, he had lived in Evadale for last twenty-seven years. He was a graduate of Texas A&M and a retired purchasing agent for Temple Inland. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. Survivors include wife, Cora Boyett Hollis of Evadale; sons, Hank Hollis and Phillip Hollis both of Evadale; four stepchildren; sisters, Jean Richardson of Houston and Margie Calton of Abilene; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
