Note: James is not the son of Chancy A. West (~1866-~1889) who is resting in Spring Valley Cemetery, Spring Valley, Greene County, Ohio.

Rice (1866-1902) of Georgia and Bessie May Marsh O'Leary Clemons (~1873-aft 1940) of Tennessee.

[Note: Could Eliza be a census enumerator error for the name Elinor?. This Eliza is was born about 1897 which is one year off of Nellie who was born about 1896. After researching, Eliza is Nellie Elinor Rice West.]

He, his third wife, Tullie G. Mitchell West (1897-1937), his fourth wife, Myrtle C. Rodgers (1902-1985), her parents, and daughter are resting in the West Family Mausoleum in Cedar Grove Extension. His Estate papers note that he paid $2,000.00 for a family mausoleum as well as provided an upkeep allowance for it.
