Robert L. "Bobby" Butts, 76, of Ohio and a former Rushville resident passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Springfield, OH.
Bobby was born in Rushville on August 8, 1941 to the late Raymond and Mildred (Cox) Butts.
Bobby was a 1961 graduate of Rushville High School. He married Darlene Line on July 12, 1997 and she survives. Bobby worked for several years at Marsh and Kroger as a meat cutter.
In addition to his wife Darlene of OH, Bobby is survived by a son, Richard Butts of N. Carolina, brother, Roy Butts of Rushville, IN and sister, Pauline "Polly" and husband Don Gossett of Knightstown, IN and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Raymond, Richard and Ronald "Jody" Butts.
Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. J. Michael Jessup will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM until the time of service that same day at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
